Our performance mares started it all! We were in the cutting, reining and working cow horse industry long before we started Big River Ranch, we pride ourselves on having mares with conformation, disposition and pedigree. We have cut back our herd considerably but still have some great quality mares in our herd.

A daughter of Genuine Peppy (LTE: $29,800+, 46 AQHA points, NCHA Bronze Award, NCHA Futurity semi finalist etc), that is out of Lu Lady San (Peppy San daughter that produced almost $25,000 in NCHA earnings).
This mare is an oldie but a goodie! She has produced $55,000+ in earnings to date, with a super sweet disposition and she is a splash white carrier.
"Jean" blessed us with a homozygous splash white colt by Smart And Shiney spring 2020 and we hope to be able to flush some embryos from her in 2021

Super fancy filly out of our own Smokem Dually and by an earning son of MP Jet to the Sun. We are super excited to see her grow up!
She is, what we feel, the perfect cross of running and cow horse which should allow her to move into any arena. We are looking forward to getting her started in spring 2021 and seeing what she can do!
